About Changing Ends

Icon: NotepadChanging Ends is an independent short film event. Submit a film with the theme Tennis Essence as part of the Tennis Film Festival to be shown during Australian Open 2012.

Shortlisted films will be selected following the closing date on 9 December for screening during Australian Open 2012 on Giant Screens at Melbourne Park. Films will be judged by a panel of three including the Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley, and Australian Open player and film industry expert.

Smell it, taste it, feel it, bottle it — what is the essence of tennis?

Stir it up, distil it and deliver a 90-second film with the theme Tennis Essence. The Best Short Film wins AUD$5000. Five AUD$500 cash prizes for selected finalists. Entries are now closed.

Winners and runners up will be contacted by phone and letter. They will be publicly announced on the Australian Open website and this website on Saturday 22 January 2012, and published in the Herald Sun newspaper by Monday 30 January 2012.
